My brother and his wife had a girl at 7:40 (MT) ! I remember 10 years ago when I had my first baby, the love I felt was one totally indescribable. I mean, sure, at the time, I loved his father deeply and never imagined loving so deeply… and then out comes this little being that consumes every inch of your heart and parts of your heart you never knew existed. Every molecule has taken on the shape of a heart. I saw that look in my brothers eyes and heard it in his voice. God Bless you, little Jessie. Welcome to our family. ---

That’s my daughter’s name (Jessica, Jessie, Jess). She was born Nov. 2 – a little smaller, 3 pds., 12 oz. She might be 10 pounds now, we’re not sure until we go to the doctor. Yes, you don’t know that type of love until it knocks you over your head. I involuntarily bawled and laughed at the same time at my daughter’s birth. Congratulations! ---

I just LOVE other peoples babies!! For the record, I gave birth to an 11lb baby girl. (That’s 5 kilos for our Euro Dopers, I have no idea what it is in Canadian lbs!) It was every bit as uncomfortable as it sounds. ---

My last baby was 10 lbs, 3 oz, 23 inches long. He was estimated to be 41-42 weeks along. natural childbirth, no drugs at all during labor. It was a piece of cake. ---
