Exceedingly cute, I approve! (and I dasn’t let **Moon Unit** see the pics or I’ll be pestered with incessant demands to drive right on up to wherever you live and play with the cute babeeeeeeeeeeeee). Is she spending a little time in the NICU? Tell her NICUs are no fun, she needs to blow that joint and get home where she can do the little-finger-wrapping unimpeded by modern technology. ---

> [@Amazon Floozy Goddess](#): > > Of course, Shayla’s name shall be anagrammed and 'tooned…😉 Well, **SHAYLA KATHLEEN McLAUGHLIN** certainly presents plenty of possibilities… ANGELIC LLAMA HAS THY HUN ELK? HEALTHY ANGEL CALLS MAIN [HUK?](http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/war/philippines1.htm) HAL MAY ASK LATIN CELL HE HUNG? Of course, there’s also the question of whether **Hal** and **kittenlm** will refer to their daughter here by her real name, or whether they’ll (perhaps aided by other **Dopers** ) reserve a screen name for Shayla to start using around 2020. Either way, it’s nice to know that the “Bristons” have an extra reason to be thankful as they sit down to dinner on Thursday! Your wife _is_ still planning to prepare the feast, right, **Hal**? 😃 ---

Thanks so much for all the well-wishes, everyone! Sorry, no time to answer specific posts right now…just popping back home for a few minutes to upload some [new pics](http://www.sirblah.com/photo/index.php?album=Shayla%20-%20Welcome%20To%20The%20World). Mother and child should be coming home tomorrow, which will make for a _very_ happy Thanksgiving (after all…what’s Thanksgiving if you don’t bring home a Turkey??). 🙂 Thanks again, all! ---
