Not only is the President here, but [some nutter decided to shoot up Santa Monica College](http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-santa-monica-shooting-2-dead-6-transported-to-hospitals-20130607,0,1794924.story). Apparently he set a house on fire as well. It’s kind of spooky. My office is only a few blocks away. Today was probably not the best choice for going on a crime spree. Because of the President, there were cops everywhere. ---

It’s a terrific day for the N.R.A. An American Citizen has exercised his 2nd Amendment Rights to bear arms on American soil. He’s today’s N.R.A. Ballistics Beacon ! :mad: The Police are stating right now that at least 6 are dead in more than one location. ---

Yeah, there’s still a confusion of reports. Clearly a whole lot of stuff went down – arson, carjacking, a shot-up bus, shots fired at the campus. A friend of mine on Facebook is posting pictures of police with their pistols drawn outside an apartment at Palms and Centinela. He says that there may be a stand-off related to the campus shooting.
