It's a concert - so shut your face!!!!!!

To kaylasdad99, thanks. I’m sorry your story didn’t have a happy ending.
To Indygirl, your sentiments remind me a friend of mine, named Ralph. When Ralph found out the Butthole Surfers were coming to our town, he said, I quote:

The funny thing is, he did.
To WorldEater, amen!

oops, I meant Indygrrl. Please don’t kick me in the throat.

I guess I’m just not a very social person. I don’t have any CDs I listen to and think, “Man, this would be so much better if I was listening to a poorly produced version of it with 10,000 other people who were all jumping around!”

So you don’t like the Melvins eh?

Oh no! I adore them. The only thing better than loud and fast is LOUDER and SLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWEEEEERRRRRRRR.

Actually I was refering to my spelling of Indygrrl. I just spelt “girl” instead of “grrl”, and we all know that grrl is short for “GRRRL” and that means “RIOTGRRRL” and that means “I’M GONNA KICK YA IN THA THROAT, FASCIST BULLYBOY!”.

At least where I come from.

That’s not really why I’m Indygrrrl. I’m actually Andygirl on all my other messageboards, but that name was taken on here, although I’ve rarely seen her post. Anyway, I love me some loud metal or punk or hip hop—to me, many artists simply cannot be appreciated properly without seeing them live.

Example: I saw Erykah Badu in concert a couple weeks ago. She sounds great on her CD, but omifuckingawd she was AMAZING live. I’ve never heard anyone sing like that. I’ve had similar experiences with other genres of music as well. Metallica used to put on an amazing show back in the day, as did so many others.

I heard New Kids on the Block was an amazing live show

I’d like to expand on the OP a bit–for God’s sake, don’t SING at a concert unless the artist is obviously calling for the audience to join in. Damn it, I paid money to hear the BAND do the song, not some jackass next to me. Yes, I’m impressed that you know all the words. So do I. But SHUT UP.

Eh, they were no Color Me Badd.
