December 5th they’re doing _Santa Claus Conquers the Martians_ of which I own \*two \*different copies, the original MST3K version and the now-defunct Cinematic Titanic version. This is the only way you can get me to buy a full-price ticket to a movie anymore. I can see regular movies at the $3 theater and get some good food as well. And for the record, I hate [Santa Claus Conquers the Martians](http://mst3k.wikia.com/wiki/Santa_Claus_Conquers_the_Martians). I prefer [Santa Beats the Devil](http://mst3k.wikia.com/wiki/Santa_Claus_%28episode%29), but no one’s done a re-riff of that one. Yet.\ \*I first saw _28 Weeks_ the day after I watched _The Full Monty_. The same guy plays the lead character in both movies. Very interesting experience, that was. ---

If’n it wasn’t so much irk I could probably post like **Swampy** and really confound everybody. It’s hard to post southern when you have to think about it. I’m in to much pain to do anything but sleep. I want to double up on the tylenol but I know in the long run it will hurt worse. I can’t hear out of one ear, can’t close my mouth all the way, I can’t chew anything, it hurts to talk, it hurts to move. I felt better before I went to the doctor. ---

Howdy Y’all! N.O.L. has been et. I went all white trash and had me a [del]brrrrrraaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnsssss[/del] ‘nanner sammich, chips and some diet Poopsie. It was goooooooood! Also since I am irkin’ from home I have [del]brrrrrraaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnsssss[/del] ham ‘n bean soup simmerin’ away in one slow cooker, [del]brrrrrraaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnsssss[/del] chili with beans (yes beans, get over it) in another slow cooker. This is the kind of weather to make such things. MMMMMMMMMMM!!! [del]brrrrrraaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnsssss[/del] soup and chili! However, tonight’s menu shall be grilled [del]brrrrrraaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnnnsssss[/del] poke chops, field peas with snaps, broccoli cheese Rice-A-Roni[sup]TM[/sup] (again get over it) and rolls. Matter of facts the peas are fresh so they’re slow cookin’ away as well. Da cave smells so yummerific right now. **sari** the feelin’ worse will soon turn to gettin’ better. Hang in there. **Puggy and Rio** what name changes? Everything looks perfectly fine to me. No need to fear a zombie apocalypse. No need to fear at all. Everything’s under control. Would the mods lie to us? Ok, guess I should get back to doin’ some irk stuff for a little while longer. I shall, however, call it a short day just cause I can. ---

Hic! Off to the doc soon - one or the other of my recent spine jobs left me with “intractable singultus” otherwise known as hiccups that have been bugging me for the past couple of months. Spineydoc seems to consider this a medical problem, so rather than zap off a prescription for de-hiccuping meds, I was turfed to my primary care doc. Figuring that she will have little idea about post-op hiccups, I’ve already researched and found the drug of choice and its dosing. Hopefully she concurs. HIC! ---

Welp. I have been separated from my company due to an inordinate amount of unexcused absences. They’re unexcused because the insurance company does not understand the concept of “too sick to leave the house and get to the doctor”. I miss house calls. Please don’t make a fuss. Moral support is appreciated. A barrage of advice is not. ---
