Personally - I am sitting here reading the SDMB and deciding between hot dogs on stale wheat bread or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I am blessed either way.
So what are your high plans for tonight? Just curious.

Just got the kids in bed a little while ago. Wife is out of town. I should grade papers. Instead I’m going to have some ice cream and a bourbon. I’ll probably surf the net a little, then go to bed early.

Well, the SO is out of town, so it’s just me and the dogs. The new refrigerator (replaces the old one that failed last Sunday) was delivered about 5pm, then I spent an hour or so playing with placement of the shelves, and filling it with the usual stuff. Last night I made steamed shrimp, so tonight I had leftover shrimp in a sandwich. SO returns tomorrow, so I’m trying not to make a mess, and feeling too lazy for a real cooking project. I’ll skim the Dope a bit more, then sit back and stare mindlessly at the idiot box until I fall asleep on the couch. When I wake up to pee, I’ll take the dogs outside, then I’ll go to bed. No end to the excitement, eh?

Just did. Actually it was … pretty dang good… (I had two) interesting…

I have a 5-year-old son and a 2.5-year-old daughter. They keep me plenty busy, thanks. They must have run them hard at preschool today, because they both went to bed without any complaints.
Now, tomorrow is my day for excitement! The local food bank is having a cardboard boat race as a fundraiser. My boat is ready to go. I’m gonna win that race! Or sink like a stone to the bottom of the lake. One or the other.
