Count me amongst the heathenated today. 😃 I made the executive decision not to go. Matter of fact, I even went back to bed for a little while. Sometimes it’s just good to stay home, which I have done all weekend, as I have not left da cave at all. OYKW has headed over to his place to do laundry. I shall meet him in a while at that paragon of fine dinin’ known as Three Squares Diner cause we want to eat at a classy place. Thus, I shall actually have to put on real clothes. The horror! :eek: ---

I sliced my finger open pretty badly on the clothes dryer about a half hour ago and my finger won’t stop bleeding. I already completely saturated a bandaid with blood. I mean, completely. I hope I won’t accidentally commit suicide through blood loss. ☹ It doesn’t even hurt that much. I’m much more worried about not being able to practice my clarinets. ☹ ---

There are eensy-beensy snowflakes falling outside. It’s just this side of freezing, so they won’t stick. However, it was snowing enough for me to stop by the Chinese Food Place on the way home from the laundromat. Snow = time for time to swipe the General’s lunch. (And by the General’s lunch I mean pork mei fun. I don’t like Tso’s chicken.) I am, as \*\*swampy \*\*would say, stuffted and happy now. ---

We needed to run to JoAnn’s because I needed more fabric. This squid is going to be about 7’ long, and I miscalculated how much fabric I’d need. But I’m good now - everything’s cut out and I’m about to start pinning pieces together. We’ve named it Hello Squiddy! 😃 ---

I kinda wonder if stitches would help. I just learned that it’s difficult and painful to take a shower when you have a chunk taken out of your finger. ☹ ---

**Midget** ouch! Hope finger is feelin’ better. So, we had N.O.L. at that place of gourmet delights known as Three Squares Diner. I had a ham 'n cheese omelette. OYKW had a bacon cheeseburger. We’s all class we are! 😃 Anywho, I’m back at da cave and in tshirt, sweatpants and my cozy terrycloth robe which is one of my favorite things to wear. All is good. ---

Of course, I never could. Come to think of it, my finger does work quite right because if scar tissue. You might want to check that out. Perhaps a Doc-In-The-Box may be less expensive. ---
