I’ve run into this on two separate websites now, and I’m afraid it’s going to become common - when I cut and paste from a website, the paste includes some advertising crap that I have to delete. Even my cut and pastes have advertising now. Heavy, heavy sigh. ---

I select the text, I hit control c, I come over here and hit control v, and when I paste, extra text full of advertising shows up (well, I’m using a PC keyboard on a Mac, so I have to use the option key instead of control, but it would be control if I was on a PC). I swear some buyers on eBay are beyond stupid. I’m watching a P90X exercise video set and it’s up to $130 right now. They sell new for $120. And this isn’t the first that’s gone for so close to the mfg price that there was no point in getting it on eBay. Meh. Not my money. ---

I fucking walked 2 miles to my 12 hour job shift this morning, and I’m just setting out to slug the 2 miles back again. You may want to do a scan for spyware/adware on your computer. I wish I could recommend something, but I’m not familiar with Mac security apps (trying to resist giggling as I type that, sorry!) ---

I’m on a Mac and I had the same thing happen when I tried to copy text from the National Post site in Safari. I disabled JavaScript temporarily and that stopped it. So the site has decided to be totally obnoxious and run a little JavaScript thing when you try to copy text. Boo! ---

I work when it’s busy, go home when it’s slow. ---
