WTH! I just started a new job and have been looking for a place for shoe repair. I finally found one, although it was quite a trek for a lunch-hour drop off. However, 1. They provide free delivery if you pay at dropoff. You have _got_ to be kidding me! 2. I dropped them off around 1:30, they were delivered by 3:00. Where do they get off being so quick!! 3. They brought them up to the package drop-off center and called me. By the time I got down there, the delivery guy was _gone_ so I couldn’t even give him a tip. Who the heck is in charge over there, I want names!!! ---

I have to do a big presentation today in one of my classes. I’ve been working on it for weeks, but I still feel underprepared. And my partner has been worse than useless- won’t do any of the work or show up when we’ve agreed to meet, but then he comes up with off-the-wall ideas that he wants incorporated and he wants to pick on things I’ve done in really bizarre ways and so forth. I hope he doesn’t make me look bad and I hope I don’t make myself or him look bad. He sort of casually mentioned the other day that he was possibly dropping the class TODAY so he may not even show up. I kind of hope he doesn’t because then maybe I can cry absent partner and get extra time. I hate group projects and I hate giving presentations. I’ve made two sets of notecards so that he can have a set, but the evil part of me wants to just not give them to him. That way, he’d look like he put in exactly as much work as he actually did. But if he looks bad, we both look bad, so two sets of notecards it is. ---
