My ex-husband was a scream-sneezer also. I don’t believe for one moment that he had to yell like that. And yep, the one I’m complaining about right now is a co-worker with a very high-pitched shriek. She’s taken a couple of years off my life today. ---

Dear Mother-in-Law, OK, look: Nobody “needs” a pair of slate-gray Uggs. NOBODY. Especially not 3-year-olds who will outgrow them in 3 months. The fact that the boots are HIDEOUSLY FUCKING UGLY just makes it worse, and the fact that YOU YOURSELF said they were GROTESQUE ABOMINATIONS UNTO THE LORD just makes me want to run you over with a Trabant. The “News” doesn’t know what is news. Yesterday, I was subjected to 15 minutes of breaking news of the fired USF coach and his lawyers talking about the same thing. At least it only interrupted the news programs and I switched over to some old movie on another station after about 5 minutes. The only reason I knew it lasted longer was I kept flipping back to see if they were going to report actual news. I think there is a great majority of people that don’t give a shit about sports and use the few minutes of sports reporting to make themselves a sandwich or go to the bathroom so why do they think we care just because we live in the area where this occurred? Just because this guy is a coach of a local team does not mean he warrants so much actual news time for something that would normally garner maybe 15 seconds during the sports reports if it had occurred anywhere else. ---

I am no being boastful, but the quality of their deliverables will be sharply degraded and for a firm who claims that the quality and accuracy of their deliverables is the #1 concern, getting rid of their best person was just shooting themselves in the foot. Good riddance! ---

I am a Scout leader (Boy Scouts). I despise the anti-gay bigotry of the BSA. I know about it, it is nothing new, and it is something I try to influence (in what little way that I can). I hate keeping my mouth shut in some situations, facing down others, and going through this. I love Scouting, and I love helping boys become men. I hate the attitudes of many, and the rules I have to play by at times. I know that someday this will change, but for now I must grind my teeth into powder on a regular basis. ---

Okay, here’s one I have to go through every fucking TV season. My husband and I both like _Dexter_. I hate Rita. He does not. And I’m happy when Julie Benz fids a new job. MY husband says: “I thought you hated her”. No! I hate Rita! Rita, the character. Hate, hate , hate. Love the actress.
