OK Dung Beetle…you do not even know me and you pegged me so very well! Love that one. Used to play it on the jukebox when I was a kid. That reminds me I should add another tune from that era that I used to play alot. “Rose Garden” by Lynn Anderson. I used to play that song for my Mom at a local restaurant every time we went there. Just hearing it brings back the memory of stale beer and fried chicken. ---

Ok…I have more. “Carrie Ann” “She Blinded Me with Science” (Thomas Dolby…ah, yes) “Rock the Boat” “Windy” “Two Princes” (Spin Doctors) “Run to Me” (BeeGees) And I’m not _really_ ashamed…they are just some of the songs I get razzed about liking. ---

I’m 33 years old, I should be past this, but… Linkin Park - like the OP, just about everything by them. I bought two of their CDs (not the remix one) and a live CD/DVD set. Ditto on Hoobastank, Smashmouth, and “Hey Ya.” (and on preview, “Blinded Me with Science” and “Two Princes”…) Cher - “Believe.” I dunno. Maybe it reminds me of my trip to the Italian Riviera several years ago, which is where I first heard it. This weird remake of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb”, by some group called the Scissor Sisters. Think BeeGees doing a kind of happy cover of this song, and you’ll be pretty close. For me it kind of sits on the boundary between hilarious and heresy. Duran Duran. Hey, I was a teenager in the '80s, sue me. ---
