Ha! Miracle fruit. I was actually kind of disappointed about miracle fruit. Not because it didn’t work, but because it left a funky after-taste (and present-taste?). Kind of a pungent fruit rollup glaze on the back of my tongue. Would anyone want to come out in my direction? I’m in Sterling Heights. We might hit a restaurant out here, then head back to my place for some serious geek games? Just a thought. ---

It’ll probably be difficult to get a usual dopefest going since this is around the holiday season, but a small one would be cool, too. I’m free from the 18th-23rd and the 26th-4th. ---

Okay, so I’ve been a regular reader for \ many years now and just today realized that dopefests not only exist, but have been existing in my backyard. Count me in when it’s decided where and when. Are these family friendly events or doper only guestlists? ---

Hey **ghostman.** Yeh! You’ve been totally missing out. These affairs are “the more the merrier”, so please bring any friends or family you think can tolerate the magnitude of awesomeness that is more than a few Dopers in one room. There is much merriment and mirth, and maybe a some feats of strength. So bring a helmet. I’m in California now. It was about 60 degrees today. I went out wearing a thermal and a t-shirt over it, and I got a little warm. I think tomorrow I’m just gonna wear a t-shirt. Oh, let’s see, [weather.com](http://weather.com) says tomorrow’s high is 63. What? Oh yeah, so, no Dopefests for me until I get back to Michigan in a week and a half. Hope you’re all having fun. ---
