# It's been a while since I had a good spit-take.

I’m eating breakfast at my local diner this morning. Sharing a table with several friends, swapping stories and news, drinking coffee by the gallon and just easing into the morning. Usually we tend to skip over the political issues of the day. There’s just nothing good down that road for us but “Bob” spots that we have a new server working there that morning. I’m not sure what Bob thought he was going to gain but he asks her “Do you support President Trump?”

Firstly, I’m kind of pissed. Trying to corner a tip-dependent service person on their political views is just a dick move.

Without missing a beat though and while still pouring Bob’s coffee refill, she replies “In some ways. I’d sure help him move out.”

Man I was glad they had a napkin dispenser right at the table. She got a _nice_ tip from me today.
