# It's Festivus today!

Actually, the history of Festivus predates Seinfeld by several decades. It was an actual annual event in the life of a a Seinfeld writer, and was promoted there to bring grievances to the world.

On Wednesdays, we have bagels and donuts at my work. Often when I get in, the smiley face cookies have been ravaged by other coworkers and often only one or two broken pieces are left. Today I got in and was able to grab 2 smiley face cookies!

It’s a Festivus miracle!
