You didn’t send out your monthly tithe of chocolate to **Lynn Bodoni** , did you? She’s in charge of weather and she’s pure unadulterated viciousness when she is not appeased. And believe me, I sympathize with you - I forgot to send her some, too, and I’m watching what promises to be 8-12 inches of snow fall on my lawn in retribution. Take a hot hot bath, re-bundle, and drink some hot tea. ---

I turned our heat off tonight. No need for it. It’s about 55 F here, and not so wintery at all. Of course, Lynn’s throwing 19 degrees at us Sunday, but hey…I don’t mind crowing when I can. 😃 The bath would work, better, **Anaamika** , just to warm your icy, shattery bones. You gotta SOAK in the heat. Not just have it spraying willy-nilly around you. SOAK IN IT!!! [sub]Starts carefully giftwrapping Godiva Chocolates to the WeatherQueen Lynn…just in case…[/sub] ---

I’ll be at my apartment soon enough, and there’s no-one else there. I’d be in the lab (there’s no-one else here, either, but I’ve got plenty of work to do), but I don’t want to get stuck in this building. We’re supposed to have a horrible snowstorm at any second. Come to think of it–why the hell am I still here? I’m heading for home now. It’s a 45-minute walk, and I’d rather do it now than during a blizzard. ---

Yeah, we’re having our three-or-four-times-per-winter cold snap right now. -35C with the wind chill. It’s kind of the karma for the +10 weather we had last week (10 above freezing in Montreal, in January? That ain’t right.) ---

The problem isn’t your lack of a sweetie. It’s that it’s gotten cold enough for your brain to congeal. In fact, it might be getting cold enough out there that all molecular motion has slowed waaaay down. That might explain my lack of with-it-ness recently, too.
