It’s fucking SPRING, we are NOT supposed to get any more fucking snow! Having a sick toddler at home clinging to me really isn’t helping, either. At least we’re not supposed to get any accumulation, and it’s supposed to change over to rain later today. I’ve heard that, further east, they’re supposed to get some accumulation. I’m sure they’re overjoyed. ---

I grant you that PA has gotten more than its share of snow this year, but so has Boston. But snow in March and April are pretty standard all over the northeast, no? I remember a few snowstorms from May in the past, even in Boston. ---

Driest most horrible winter ( and spring ) on record here in the Wasatch mountains, I’ve hung up the skis and broken out the mountain bike. In MARCH damnit. March is supposed to be the 1-2 foot blue bird skiing powder paradise time. It’s all wrong, send us back our snow, it is not wanted or appreciated over there. link to snow pack map for the western US. (pdf) . No California data as they do their own thing. This is % of normal snowpack. Your igloos would melt if you had decent weather, and then where would you live? 😉 I grew up in the DC area. I remember late March snow being a very unusual thing. The longer winters are something I do not like about Pittsburgh. It always feels like winter starts too soon in the fall, and takes too long to go away in the spring. ☹ Now I’m stuck inside with a toddler when the weather is bad, so that’s a little dollop of extra suck. ---
