Since Gandhi’s name was originally not written using the Roman alphabet, there are different ways to transliterate it. ---

However, he was entirely adept at English, schooled in English law. My understanding is that the transliteration as commonly given was his preference. Which I mispelled. Guilty as charged. My humiliation is a vast cavern of darkness, which my soul wanders in ceaseless woe and sorrow. _Seppuku_ seems the only possible course. ---
