\*\*Butters \*\*- when I read “peeps”, I had a mental image of marshmallow chicks… Laundry is in and 5 pairs of jeans are in the dryer to finish drying. Apparently the denim of my sweetie’s jeans is heavier than the fabric of my jeans, which dried. Anyway, it’s all done, except for hanging his jeans when they’re dry. He’s snoozing. I’m unmotivated - I see an early bedtime again tonight. ---

Laundry done, kitchen tidied, stuff bought to replace perfectly good stuff that I can no longer carry lunch or coffee to irk in. Everything that I carry my lunch and coffee to irk in now must be clear or disposable to go through security. I bought a clear plastic tote for lunch and some of the mason drinking jars with sippy lids for coffee. Trying to figure what to fix for supper. Lunch was some gumbo and a corn muffin I pulled from the freezer stash. I’m thinking some chili for supper. Happy Halloween! ---

I really want to joke about silicon molds and breasts, but the thought of gathering up ringing cell phone and putting them in trash bags is horrifying. What the hell else can they do, answer the phones and say in three or four languages, “The owner is dead.”? Sorry guys, that really bothers me. Perhaps I shall have a drink ---

Howdy Y’all! Company has come and gone. The kids are out trick or treating. I am handing out candy with the little dog. So far, I’ve gotten some teenagers who take handfuls without asking. I’m torn between being irritated and being happy I can close up shop earlier. My son said the purple contacts looked totally fake, my daughter said they looked fine, and my MiL said they looked natural. :dubious: (they look ridiculous up close, but fine from a distance) I keep catching glimpses of the purple, which is a little weird. Still it’s fun for the night. I close with the observation that I am out of beer. So it’s a good thing I’ve got Gin! 😃 ---
