I think it would have been fun had there been twins, with twin 1 (girl) born just minutes before twin 2 (boy). Yes, the getting rid of primogeniture thing is sorted out for the U.K. and for Canada and one or two others, but quite a few Commonwealth countries have not agreed to it. If we have to have all the news media full of this stuff, I demand a bit of amusement. 🙂 ---

Not quite, if Scotland gets independence then they still want to retain the monarchy so not quite sure what would happen. A different title in Scotland with the ‘English’ title being applied to the Commonwealth? ---

Currently by convention the Monarch carries the same number wherever she rules, even though many countries presumably never had a second Elizabeth (including Scotland).
