In [How do threads get killed?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=51143) Chrome Spot asked, well, just that. In response ishmintingas noted a recently opened thread on online chess play that he was unable to find. I remembered that very thread, and when I looked, I couldn’t find it either. Neither scrolling nor using search pulled it up, and I don’t recall any about-to-be-banned poster alighting there.

So where’d it go?

No, I did not, but I have done now. Right in front of my eyes.
