If only I could! **Sleep** Oh yes, I need me some of that. Because lack of sleep makes me grumpy and rag on **Euty** for his Eastern-timezonecentric POV. Dammit **Euty**! Us people in GMT+1 count too! Unless I missed that hidden part of your post that said “tater, you beautiful woman you, why dontcha take a nice nap. Wha? Like I gotta have a reason for everything?? All right, all right, I haven’t had much sleep for the past few nights due to editing final film projects for school. So I thought I could take it easy tonight…and not get any sleep for stuff I don’t have to do. ---

If you must know, here is what I’m doing tonight (and pretty much every night): Polishing my doorknobs to a perfect shine. Leafing through the latest issue of Gun’s ‘n’ Ammo. Repeatedly watching the last 30 seconds of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, hoping that some day I’ll understand. Contemplating whether it’s really worth it to escape from this “village”. Separating the crunchberries from the Cap’n Crunch Trying to figure out today’s Doonsberry. Forming my poop into the shape of Ashley Judd Proofreading random web pages and e-mailing my findings to the webmaster Checking the latest Olsen twins video for any indications of satanic messages. Building a display case for my collection of zip-lock baggies. Practicing playing Ozzy Osbourne’s “Suicide Solution” on my set of Tibetan singing bowls. Checking tapes of today’s news broadcasts for signs of liberal bias; preparing my findings for Rush. Reading a little more of Ulysses, once again swearing to just buy the frigging Cliff Notes. Building my own holodeck out of a large cardboard box and spare parts from a Xerox machine. Calling my mom, demanding to know how long I was breastfed as a child; enquire about my status in the will. Practicing Masonic handshakes with a mannequin. Hatching a plan set myself on fire at the next Oscars to protest the exclusion of “Miss Congeniality” from this year’s awards. ---

I work nights, so I’m always up into the wee hours of the morning. I fall asleep around 6, wake up at noon. You’ll find far more intresting people late at night…everyone is sleep deprived, and definitely more easily amused. Last night I actually slept though, so now I’m up at 9:30 in the morning. Damn sun…
