The lady that shares my building was inconsolable as he had been work with her since Oct trying to get the RV Park fixed up from Irma. Why can’t these people see that what is causing their pain today is temporary? We had a Q2, the largest box we can send without special handling – something big enough to ship a small person, that weighed basically nothing. It crushed when other boxes got stacked on top of it so it had to go to Problem Solve. The contents were one (1) small decorative throw pillow. The bad news was that PS had to repack it in another Q2. Because that is what the standard policy is; the computer is always right. It’s not just a job; it’s a freakin adventure. ---

**{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}** Thems’ hugs for everybody that needs them; seems like this was a bad day and multiples of hugs were needed. Decided to go to Golden Corral to sup. Noticed that instead of letting us get our own silverware and napkins they are having the table hostess bring them to you. Why? It’s a mystery to me. Tomorrow I’ve reccruited a crew and a couple of pickup trucks and we’re going to move a bunch of portable goals (4’ x 6’) to their assigned fields. Weather and Murphy permitting, of course. No snow here, but definitely winter is taking one more shot at Ali-bama; currently 39F heading for freezing tonight (and yes, it’s not a snowstorm, but this is Alabama). Bed-time is here; all y’all take care. ---

Good Mornn’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 47 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 62, mostly N.O.S. and windy for the day. Wind was blowin’ pretty hard last night before sleepy time and is blowin’ out this mornin’. Don’t know what today will bring. I need provisions and today is geezer day at the Pubic Sto’ so I should do that. I don’t know if any work will be done on the kitchen etc today. Tammie is still with us but this is still just a matter of time. Long John Silver’s is makin’ tonight’s suppage. I like their fish plus we have coupons. Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, if’n I am to go about the public I reckon I should purtify. Happy Hump Day Y’all! ---

I’m showered, dressed, have breakfasted, and am caffeinating… at home so far. When I let Higgs out, it was sleeting. The temp is hovering at freezing. Nope, not driving in that. We’ll see how things progress - I may or may not make a short day of it. Meanwhile, I’ll surf. I hope all those panicky folks who jammed Food Lion yesterday are enjoying their French toast! 😃 I brainfarted and thought about stopping there to grab something for supper, but as I drove thru the parking lot, I recognized my error. Do people around here not have food in their pantries?? ---

I think\*\*\*\* there was theft of the flatware \*\*MetalMouse \*\*. Up extra early to clean before the maid comes today. What is wrong with that? It’s amazing what one can accomplish in an hour. I stripped the bed and put clean sheets- still folded. We shall see if she gets the hint. We are expecting a cold front through here tonight. Gonna dip into the 60’s. We have had more winter this year than I can ever remember. I know, I know but I have thin blood. OK. Off to the shower with me. **Moooommmm** don’t take the chance. Sleet on the roads be dangerous. ---

Happy Hump Day! It stopped snowing last night. My son went out and shoveled around 1am. Today we wake up to more snow. The cat is looking miserable, he wants to go outside. **Butters** I wish I knew a way to stop the conflict between animals. I can’t blame it on Ripple for being mean to the cat through, because the cat isn’t all innocent. The fighting over the love seat is more on the cat. The cat, in all the years we have had him, has never slept on the loveseat. Ripple started jumping up there to take naps. The cat would jump up and join him, all good. But then the cat started napping there and if he gets there first he won’t let Ripple up to nap with him. So now everytime Ripple sees the cat on the love seat he goes after him to make him get off. It’s an every day battle, a little turf war. Now it has carried over to the water bowls. I can give the cat his own water bowl, but he doesn’t want to drink out of _his_ water bowl. He wants to drink out of the main water bowl, and now Ripple has started guarding the water bowl. The two of them used to drink side by side, not anymore. I used to be able to share a piece of chicken with both of them. The only people food the cat wants is chicken, sometimes ham, so I’d give him a little piece. Not anymore, because Ripple goes berserk if I do. But it all started with the loveseat. Before that Ripple would play too rough, but it was play. Now it’s fighting. Ripple still wags his tail, but it’s different. I don’t think I can fix it, I have to let them work it out on their own. I keep an eye on them to make sure it doesn’t get too nasty, but I think I need to leave it alone and let them figure it out. ---

I have been to the Pubic Sto’ for provisions. Not many people in there so I was in and out in under thirty minutes. No wait at check out even. Now I am at da cave in sweatpants, tshirt and my wunnerful robe i.e. my cooler weather retirement attire. 😃 ---

Well, that was a stupid move on my part. I decided to go to work. I was partway to Leonardtown when I realized that I shouldn’t have left home. So after a quick stop at Food Lion for soup-makin’s, I came home. For those who have never been here, my house is up an incline fed by 2 roads on inclines. My car couldn’t handle the incline. I tried backing several times to get traction, but I ended up stuck on the side of the road in front of the neighbor’s house. AAA can’t help me because the road hasn’t been plowed. I’m not about to dig out 200’ or more of road, so the car sits. Meanwhile, \*\*FCD \*\*is out there. I saw him leave and I tried to flag him down, but he left. I hope he can get back in. I emailed work and told them I’m not coming. Guess I should go shovel the driveway a bit. I hate snow. ---

He doesn’t even like the cold. Whenever he comes in from the cold he lays on the arm of the couch with his face inches from the heat vent. I think it is probably not healthy to have his face that close to the heat but he seems to like it.
