Still cold and damp around here but at least the foot cramps that woke me up last night faded. Spending some quality time watching ā€œMST3K: The Movieā€ scored last weekend. Somehow in the tangle that was the Clinton administration I missed that one. ---

Morning all. Weā€™re expecting 60F again today, so I and my heater are thankful. Signed up to do 5 indoor soccer games Sattiday, mostly because no one else signed up and I need my exercise. **FCM,** did **FCD** and you consider him stopping at a hotel and getting home Sattiday? Thatā€™s a long push at the best of times, and in the middle of winterā€¦ Hope heā€™s home at a reasonable hour. And **swampy,** hope OYKW has a safe drive, too. **Sari,** Iā€™m with you, someone who can find my vein first time can be as abrupt as they want to be. And your cat and dog remind me of the comic ā€œGet Fuzzyā€, although I am sure you look much better than the owner in the comicā€¦ ---

\*\*MetalMouse \*\*- obviously you donā€™t know my spousal unit. He could have stopped on the way - his aunt issued an invite multiple times, including thru me. No matter - he wants to be home NOW! The man drives me crazy sometimes. Youā€™d think after 34 years Iā€™d be used to itā€¦ I worked well into my lunch hour, so Iā€™ll be taking off early again today. And Iā€™m taking my salad home for supper, since I just donā€™t feel like eating now. I just hope I have enough to keep me occupied this afternoon. Wow, **Butters**! Thatā€™ll be something like $12/week after taxes, right? Makes it all worth it, right? ---

Home. Last I heard from **FCD** , he was somewhere on I-90 between Toledo and Cleveland. His ETA was still 8PM-ish, but I honestly donā€™t expect to see him before 9. Since I didnā€™t eat lunch, Iā€™ve got a salad for supper. Iā€™ll probably run the vacuum cleaner this evening, and maybe even dust (NO NO NO NO NO :eek: ) Iā€™ve been informed that we shall be busy tomorrow. And by busy I mean the new machine will be delivered and weā€™ll need to get it into the basement and put it together. So much for my planned erranding. Dammit. At least the work week is over. ---

He just called from south east of Pittsburgh. Heā€™s been tolled to death - between Ohio and PA, he said almost $50 in tolls!!! He should have gone across I-70, but, no, he didnā€™t want my advice. šŸ˜› And it wouldnā€™t take his EZPass! ---

I am pretty useless today. The stress is just encouraging me to lie low. My greatest accomplishment is that I existed in my house so that someone else could install new internet. Someone from the company visited me on Wednesday. The conversation pretty much went like this: _knock knock_ ''Hi, weā€™re sorry to bother you but we wanted you to know there is now an alternative internet service to Comcastā€“" ā€œCome in! Where do I sign? Is Friday good for installation?ā€ We are now paying $50 less per month for wireless that, at least so far, appears exactly the same speed. Tomorrow, I work. ---
