☹ I sat on it and heard a loud CRACK! I then reach in between the seat cushions and pulled out a large piece of splintered wood from the frame. Now, I am no size zero chick, but neither am I close to a weight that would exceed the maximum capacity for a couch and a newish one at that. We have no kids or anything else that would, in my opinion cause the frame to crack in less than 2 years. Heck, the couch doesnt even get that much use. My husband prefers the love seat and I have my chair. All are from the same set and get far more use. It was just bizarre, and did not do me any good for my well padded and need to go on a diet self. The couch isn’t unusable but the springs are out of wack. The couch repair place promised to call me back today, so far crickets. I can’t go anywhere else, this is the only place locally that the warrenty works with.

Howdy from da cave! Glad this irk day is over. One thing after another. That’s all behind me now. Well, until tomorrow.
Grilled chikin boobs, steamed asparagus and baked N.O.T. for dindin. That should be good. Also quicklike.

**Spaz** Cubans are nummy. The sammich that is. I’ve never had a Cuban person so I can’t attest to the numminess of that. 😃

Home, warming up. It was brisk in the office. I’m going to dig out a pair of texting mitts and take them with me. I’m also going to take some tea and hot chocolate mix and my office mug - all I had today was lemonade, and that didn’t help with the cold much.
Tomorrow is my annual check up and blood drawing - I’ve got an appointment at 7:30, so the fasting won’t be too terrible. I’m hoping to make it to the office by 9. It’ll just be a short day. And I got an email today - Sunday will be the official end of crab monitoring. Not that it’s a huge deal - since Oct 15, \*\*FCD \*\*has only had 1 crabber go out. He’s scheduled for 3 days this week, but he doesn’t expect to have anyone to check. Oh well…
Supper will be pollack - probably broiled - mac-n-cheese, broccoli, and chocolate cake. Yum.

Supper was meh - I think the fish was underdone. But the broccoli and mac-n-cheese were both good, so there’s that. And we’ve got cake for later.
I got an email from my mom - she’s got some more yarn for me from one of her AARP folkses. At the rate they’re donating, I’ll never have to buy any more ever again. I should probably take a break from the hats for the vets and get back to hats for kids - they go a lot faster. I’d like to be able to take a bag to Mom when I go for Thanksgiving.
So once I finish with Dear Abby and Facebook updates, I shall assume the knit position.
