\*\*doggio \*\*- why the frown? \*\*BBBobbio \*\*- šŸ˜› on your commute. Iā€™ve decided on sketties and salad for tomorrow - email me your expected arrival time or leave a voice mail on my home number tomorrow, please. I need to get **FCD** ā€™s truck to the shop and I donā€™t want to be gone when you arrive. If I have to drop if off after dinner, thatā€™ll work, too. Finally home and ready to crash and burn. Since my sweetie had to get up at 0320 to be ready to leave at 0400, I had to reset the alarm. Every time I do that, I worry that I screwed it up, so last night I woke up every hour till 2, then slept till alarm on time. I got up, took the dog out, kissed my sweetie goodbye, and went back to bed till 5 when I had to get up. After work, I came home, took the doggies out, made sure all the critters had food and water, then left to meet daughter. We found the college - thank goodness for her iphone - and got some good info on the Peace Corps. She came home with a handful of literature, and a tentative target of the summer of 2012. Then I got a little lost again as we left - it was dark and I havenā€™t been in Fredericksburg in years - but I found my way to Geo Washingtonā€™s boyhood home, and from there, I knew the way. We got in just before 8, and shortly after I post this, I will be hitting the rack. If Firday doesnā€™t get here soon, I may be forced to hurt someone. Who, me? Stressed? Nah, I think itā€™s more likely fatigueā€¦ _zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz_ ---

Oh, forgot to mention my sisterā€™s spousal unit had surgery last night - turns out his bellyache was a ruptured appendix. :eek: Apparently all went well, and he should be home by the end of the weekā€¦ ā€¦ assuming he doesnā€™t kill himself because he canā€™t smoke or drink beer in the horsepitalā€¦ šŸ˜ƒ ---

Called back later when she was supposed to be at his house and found out sheā€™d just left because the electricity was back on. Still no land line, but at least lights and fridge and radio and TV. The second one was from my least-favorite consulting meat-market in the world. These guys donā€™t offer consulting services, theyā€™re agents exclusively and their personnel normally doesnā€™t have the slightest idea what the acronyms stand for or know the legal systems involved. First, 19:30 local time is not ā€œbusiness hoursā€ in Spain; second, the last time I told someone from your agency I was employed (until 2012 at least, and I donā€™t mean January) was last Thursday, check the common database before pulling the one you hide in your drawers; third, it was a fishing expedition (he didnā€™t ask whether I knew someone who might be interested in ā€œjobs in XYZ moduleā€, but ā€œjobs with usā€ - I guess that means the marketā€™s up); fourth, why do you ask whether my current client pays well and the conditions are good, when your own agency has people here? This one, I did not wish him good luck; I already feel like I was overly polite because I did not wish him rampaging hemorroids :mad: **ruble** , I think at this point Iā€™d be surprised if there was a relatively-easy-to-get prop you did _not_ have. I wouldnā€™t expect you to have the original Darth Vader suit, but I assume there is at least one black cloak in your wardrobe, with the possibility of an opera cloak lined in either red or white. Good thoughts sent to sickies, people with blurfs diverse and all that. ---

I have had food poisoning or some kind of d&v bugā€¦has been quite horrible. I think Iā€™m over the worst of it but I havenā€™t eaten for nearly 2 day and now Iā€™m feeling all light-headed and wobbly. Bah! The cats canā€™t make cups of tea and 'im indoors has gone off to his new job. Good job there are cold drinks in the fridge. ---
