it’s flurrying here. The difference between that and snowing is that in the latter, the precipitation comes straight down; in the former, the flakes float all over the place. The result is the same, though - more yucky white stuff! ---

The snow is accumulating. I’m not thrilled. It’s up to the dog’s belly so there wasn’t much point to him lifting his leg. I’m glad I don’t have to go outside to pee in belly deep snow. I don’t know what I’m having for dinner but I need to think about it. I thought about ordering a pizza, we haven’t done that for a while, but I’m not going to ask anybody to come out in this mess. ---

The snow has stopped. It’s up to 29°. Laundry is done and put away. Shrimp scampi for supper, with broccoli, I think. \*\*FCD \*\*is wearing both braces - the stretchy one under the reinforced one - and he says it seems to be helping. I just need to keep him from stressing it while it heals. No small task. ---

RT and I decided to venture out into the weather. Rah. Now we’re back home and I’m waiting for dinner while he runs a cable for the router. I hope things clear up before tomorrow. When he came home last night he ran out of driving hours when he’d was barely past the PA state line and it will be a long drive back again if the roads are a mess. ---

We went out for N.O.L. (Chinese) and got hair cuts. Then back to da cave where I did indeed bake an apple pie. Anywho, dindin has been et but no dessert yet. That shall come in a while. There’s even ice cream. Life is good! ---

The scampi was good, but kinda bland. I need a better recipe. The sun has set and the rain should be moving in any time. Temps are supposed to rise overnight so we shouldn’t have to worry about freezing. And it’s supposed to be partly sunny tomorrow. I’ll clear enough snow to get the truck out the side gate. \*\*FCD \*\*will need it on Tuesday because the Sonata will be in the shop for an oil change. Our life has a complex choreography. 😃 ---

Home from irk, hoping I’m wrong about feeling like I’m coming down with something. Not feeling like a great human being right now. I got to work a few minutes late, irritated by traffic problems created by an accident (couldn’t see well enough pre-dawn to know much about the situation). [Come to find out](http://www.kcra.com/news/local-news/news-sacramento/northbound-highway-99-in-sacramento-shut-down/31400726) a pedestrian had been hit and killed by a semi. That didn’t bother to stop. Someone died, and I’m sulking about a ten-minute delay? I don’t like to think I’m that selfish. About all I can say in my defense is that when I was sulking, I didn’t know there had been a fatality and finding out about that did correct my sense of perspective quickly. ---

At the risk of annoying Rosie, what does it mean, " Hyperactive Squirrel Girl"? Mrs. Plant (v.1.0) and (3.0) are quite nice and pleasant. Mrs. Plant (v.2.0) would be quite happy to eviscerate me and eat my liver, but fortunately for me, that is no Kosher. ---
