We’ve had ice on our streets since at least the beginning of January. When the snow covers the ice, it’s not as hard to walk on. ---

Can’t wait until tomorrow evening, I won’t have to cook! The youth group at church is hosting a spaghetti supper. Pasta! Meatballs! Garlic bread! Even wine! This will not be the pancakes and sausage breakfast that is usual for Shrove Tuesday, but it still will be mighty good. My last meat before Lent starts, as I go off meat for the Lenten season. ---

8 degrees and some light snow. The trip was interesting coming home. It’s PA guys and gals – its winter!!! Either learn how to drive in it or move along a bus route. God knows we have enough of them! ---

Howdy Y’all! Home from men’s night over to the church house. 'Twas a good time had by all as usual. Tomorrow is back to irk. Le Sigh. **DeathMistress** I shall be the bacon and snausage chef du cuisine tomorrow for our annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper. It’s a big fundraiser for our Deacon’s ministry. Plus there will be beer and wine cause, ya know, that goes so well with pancakes. 😃 All y’all in snow/icepocalypse stay warm, stay in, and stay safe. It’s a bunch of folks who drive on it once a year, hills and about three snow plows for the whole state. No comparison. 😛 ---

I don’t \*ever \*call out of work but I just did. The road in front of my house is a literal sheet of ice. I was going to go down to see what it was like and I couldn’t even get down the steps from my deck. I’ll probably go in later, but it ain’t gonna be at 7 a.m. before the sun’s fully up. I’ve driven the length of the state once in an ice storm and that was enough to say nie wieder. Snow is great. We love snow. It has traction. Ice does not. Ice can go do anatomically impossible things to itself. ---

I finally broke down and turned up the heat in here. If I go out anytime soon I may get a space heater. It’s snowing. Which added to a fun phone call for me. I had just woke up from a nap and was still feeling groggy when I got a call from an 855 number. For whatever reason I thought that was a government number and answered it. No, it was Tyson calling about my computer. Of course this isn’t the entire conversation, he was talking a lot and I couldn’t understand half of what he said and he couldn’t hear everything I said because we were on speaker phone and I kept moving the phone around. So he goes into his spiel about how there are problems with my computer and I said _really man really?_ He says people are trying to get into my computer and I said _people really do that stuff?! what a bummer._ Yes ma’am, the people are tying to break into your computer and do whatever he was yammering on about . So I said \*you mean these little tiny people are trying to break into my computer? - _Wow, that’s so cool, little tiny people trying to get inside my computer._ He says no ma’am they aren’t coming to your house or trying to break in, they are trying to get into your computer. - Have you ever tried shrooms?\* Ma’am we really need to fix your computer, are you in front of it. - No, its on the other side of the room\* Can you go there? _Yeah but I don’t want to_ Ma’am it’s very important, we need to fix your computer, I am not a hacker or a scammer I am trying to help you I am from Microsoft you know that is a big company name and we are a reputable company. - Do we have to do this now, you’re messing with my high\* Yes ma’am it’s very important. _Oh okaaaay_ _wow look at all the pretty colors!_ Are you looking at your computer ma’am? What do you see? - Do you know how to get all these spots off my screen?\* What spots ma’am are they black spots or blue spots? _They are white spots all over my screen and there’s a fox chasing his tail_ I can fix that for you ma’am, I can get rid of the spots for you. So you see the ‘ctrl’ key? _The what key?_ The ctrl key c t r l can you see it? _No I can’t see anything, can you hold on while I turn on the light?_ Yes ma’am I can hold on. _Okay I’m back do you know if it’s snowing?_ Excuse me ma’am? _Do you know if it’s snowing, I looked out the window and saw white spots and when I look at the computer I see white spots, do you think it’s snowing inside my computer?_ \* Or maybe I’m seeing white spots. Do you like shrooms?\* Excuse me ma’am I didn’t hear you _Do you like shrooms, you know mushrooms Do you like mushrooms?_ Yes ma’am I like mushrooms very much now about your computer _What about my computer?__Can you hold on?_ Then I set the phone down, waited a while and hung it up. That was a lot more fun than cussing him out ---

**Sari** that was made of awesome! I go on a trip to LA tomorrow. Tonight has been running around, making sure I’m packed, and the hubby knows where everything is. The kids are on vacation this week, so it shouldn’t be too hard. Then Weds I present on my new team and their role. Which hopefully will actually get announced by then or it’s gonna be a short talk. Then I participate in a whole day working session on said team. Also awkward without announcement. On the plus side, room service! Shower without having to tell someone where their shoes are through the door. Watching whatever I want (or don’t) for one night! Bliss! I’m sure the weather in La-La will be, you know, um, sunny. 😃 ---
