This is incredible. I just realized I’ve been married longer than just about anyone else I know except for my parents. How did it last this long? Beats me. One day just follows another, then you look at how much time has gone… whoa… and think, I have staying power. ---

Congratulations! I don’t know all that much about you, but I know that you are transgendered, unless I have mistaken you for someone else? Please beat me over the head if this is the case. Or if I am not mistaken and I tick you off with my next paragraph. Feel free. Bless your wife/husband. Bless the both of you for working through this very difficult situation and staying together. BUT, bless your spouse the most. I know that things haven’t been easy for you, and I know that this is an understatement. BUT…as hard as it is for YOU, please know that it is just as difficult for your spouse…if not more. Yes, you are facing up to your gender dysphoria, and I know that is very difficult. BUT…in some ways, it is worse for your wife/husband. She/He isn’t the one with the actual conviction that the gender in your marriage is all different than when you committed to marriage. Bless that person who loves you enough to hang in there. You are a very lucky person. Happy Anniversary! 20 years is longer than most people make it. You are blest. ---

Congratulations! My husband and I just had our 21st in December. It’s a long road, sometimes smooth, sometimes it’s rough, but the strong make it through! Yeah, you’ve got staying power! I wish you many, many more happy years together! ---
