I turn 36. My _late_ 30s. Making matters worse, it’s a beautiful day in NYC, but I’m stuck at the office, most likely until late tonight. I probably won’t get a chance to celebrate my b-day at all today. I didn’t get a single card or phone call (unless they came after I left for work this morning.) So…I’m going to just give myself a pat on the back and say happy birthday to me! ---

Happy birthday. My wife turns 36 today, and she’s stuck at work (for another hour). But it’s not so beautiful out (in Chicagoland). We’ll do all the birthday stuff when we get home. She still has to decide what I’m making her for dinner. ---
