This one is ticklish and has a name that’s fun to pronounce. I need to get in a tank with one of these. [https://www.facebook.com/MrTechnicalDifficult/videos/698504376863602/](https://www.facebook.com/MrTechnicalDifficult/videos/698504376863602/) ---

> [@burpo\_the\_wonder\_mutt](#): > > I need to get in a tank with one of these. You, ah, might want to read up on platypuses before you do that. At the very least, make sure it’s a tank of females, eh. ---

Where does the platypus come from? Australia. What does everything from Australia want to do? Kill you. You probably want to be careful about what you tickle, and where. ---

Sure it’s cute and all but puppies and kittens aren’t usually venomous. ---

Those are both adorable, so I guess if you crossed them you’d get the cutest animal ever, a _porcupus_? Well, we’ll get the marketing department to work on that one. ---

[This is cute, too](https://www.facebook.com/tampabaynews/videos/10153325170605409/?pnref=story). You’d never think of a rhino “frolicking”. But you wouldn’t want one for a pet, either. Look at the feet on that! ---

I had the pleasure of watching platypi when we visited Melbourne. They’re just lovely underwater, a beautiful silvery color (air bubbles in the fur), darting back and forth. ---

It’s almost like the Monty Python “Pet Shoppe” sketch: Tell y’what, otter makes a lovely platypus; I c’n do that for ya right now: glue on bill, staple on beaver tail, make good. There y’are, ::snort::, lovely platypus. ---
