Terrorism is not a nation, nor are are we ( nor can we be, despite the speeches ) at war with it. Not to mention, bombing an ally’s territory is not normally done.
The USA were always hypocrites when it came to terrorism in Northern Ireland. They knew that innocent civilians were being actively targeted by the terrorists funded by sympathisers in the USA, and that a lot of those who contributed had never even been here to meet the people who were being killed, but, hell, they were a long way from US shores, and I’m sure it got them the Irish American vote.
IMO there is NO level at which civilian slaughter becomes acceptable. The war in Iraq was itself an act of terrorism, for which the Bushites should be held criminally responsible. He knew beforehand what the probable results would be, but he attacked anyway on trumped up “evidence” which no-one believes in any more.
His God who told him to attack Iraq was perhaps the Devil in disguise!!
