But only before I remind myself of _every goddamn February of my life_, when it’s been gray and cold and depressing for about a million years and I’d do ANYTHING for spring to just get here. But noooo, there’s still March, which in Ohio is just like February, with the occasional snigger. That snaps me right out of it. ---

I still keep my swim suit in my car so I can head straight to the beach after class on pretty days. I think I’m going to be in for a shock when I go up to Ohio after Christmas. Brrr. 🙂 ---

As a Californian stranded here in the tundra of the north east, the mild autumn is more than welcome. Tell me, m’dear, why are you wearing a summer dress, sandals, a sleeveless top, a cardigan, and black pants all at the same time? That is one eclectic outfit, not to mention the redundancy. Are you wearing both boxers and briefs as well? ---

Well here I am in Canada, supposed to be livin’ in an igloo and mushing my dogteam to work, right? HA! we haven’t even had a frost yet! We did get snow on Thursday, but it didn’t stick at all. Now I realize this is about as southren Canada as you can get, but we usually at least have FROST! Come on! I want to take the kids sledding! ---

Ack! Must be an epidemic. My sister called me yesterday to inform me that, on December 1, they were on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, in bathing suits, in the water - it was eighty degrees. :eek: It’s actually warmer there than here in SoCal. (But in a month they’ll be hip-deep in snow and It’ll still be 65 here.) Esprix ---

I originally was going to wear one, because I wasn’t sure if the cardigan sweater would be too warm. But I felt like a moron wearing an obviously summer outfit in November. D’uh! 😛 ---

I hate corporate time. A simple request to management takes freakin’ months! It was -30C all weekend. We spent the weekend thawing vehicles - a visiting friend forgot to plug his truck in. And my husband didn’t put enough anti-freeze in our truck last time he filled the rad, so the heater lines froze up. My brother came over with his tiger torch, but had a bitch of a time getting it started because the propane gelled in the lines. Then he had to charge the battery. So that was fun, guys all over the place doing manly things - and I couldn’t escape when the testosterone got too thick (me being the only female in the house). Only four more months to go! ---

Shhh! I’m loving it personally! It’s awesome weather! Clear nights. Just the right temperature to bond with my beloved hoodie,not too clod, but gentle enough that I don’t over heat. Its wonderful outside. Occassional rain. Rain! I love rain! It’ll get crappy soon enough, I’ll take my delightful weather and love it. ---
