No, it means that when I say “Take this for what it’s worth,” it means whatever value the item has is _what you choose to give it._ If you believe it, fine. If you don’t believe it, fine. Or is the notion of subjective value too complicated for you to handle?

Just because he thinks it’s wrong doesn’t mean it is or isn’t. George W. Bush thinks the Iraq war was justified, but that doesn’t make it so.
