I want God to arrange for Santorum to be the GOP nominee in 2016, is what that means. But since you didn’t say it with your mouth, it’s not appropriate to say “From your mouth to God’s ears.” ---

But still, even in jogging get-up, he’s not noticeably fat. Just seems weird. Most things people make fun of politicians, while they might be unfair, have at least enough basis in truth that you can see where they’re coming from. ---

He’s not obese or anything, no. I’m not sure anyone ever said he was. Perhaps the SNL sketches with Phil Hartman made people think of him as a guy who liked to pig out. ---

I know it’s not up there with foreign or economic policy, but I found his rolling over to the knuckledragging fundies in the [Terri Schiavo](http://www.wsws.org/articles/2003/oct2003/flor-o31.shtml) matter more than a little troubling. Speaking only for myself — obviously — I’d need confirmation that he has sufficient stones to tell the KDFs to take a flying fleech before I’d consider him qualified for the job. ---

He didn’t follow their orders; he’s one of them. And the Schiavo affair is also the first thing I think of when people start discussing Jeb. ---
