Weird, sick, and way too much time on his hands. And why didn’t I think of Tamponhenge first (jeez, in my day, we only had had Lincoln Logs and popsicle sticks to built _our_ ancient monuments - damned modern spoiled kids). Didja notice the might alien hand in the background (“Disaster strikes…Rain”). Proof enough that the 'Henge was not built by man alone. (Okay, someone verbalize it - At least he did not show the aftermath of the sacrifices.) ---

At the University of Pennsylvania, there is a large metal sculpture at one end of campus, Covenant by Alexender Lieberman (1974). It consists of several large metal tubes arranged at angles so they span a major walkway. It is universally known as “Dueling Tampons”. ---

I totally agree. I can’t imagine commissioning “dueling tampons”. What were they thinking? As long as there are artsy-fartsy people willing to pay big bucks for the “strange and unusual”, then there will be artists to cater to them. ---

Actually I rather like the “Covenant”. (Yes, it does look less like tampons and more like blood vessels, or a rather sadistic set of playtubes from Chuck E. Cheese’s.) (Then again, what do I know about art. I like bagpipes and the music of John Tesh.)
