So tonight I’m gonna raise the windows, turn off the AC, put an extra blankie on the bed and snuggle up to Susie the cat! I _love_ the Autumn and Winter months, and I love walks in the woods with a long-haired lady during them! (I pretty much _wrecked_ that last sentence, didn’t I? :D) Quasi ---

Today is indeed a wonderful day here in the Metro Atlanta area. Nice cool breeze. Clouds to keep that evil Day Star from getting too bright. Overall, a very nice day. Just a few more hours before I get off work and am able to get out there to enjoy this wonderful weather. -Belz ---

It’s overcast here, too, but humid like a sauna out there. I can’t wait till I can open windows and turn off the air. Maybe next month. I hate Florida. ---

Got it here, too. Right now it’s _sunny_ and 79. Today’s projected high: 82. Tonight’s projected low: 62. Yesterday I caught myself getting all wistful for fall because of the weather. Then I reminded myself that it’s still early September, and we’ve got at least a month or two more of hot, wicked weather. But for now, it feels _wonderful_. ---

I long for fall. Or even a cooling trend. But no, we’ve got it hot and dry, fires in the hills, floods in the deserts, and the Santa Ana winds on their way in a month or so. I kinda wish I were in **Quasi** land right about now. ---

It was 75, breezy and sunny, with low humidity. Pretty much perfect weather, as far as I’m concerned. ---

And what was the best thing to do in Atlanta today with a hint of fall in the air? Why, go to a college football game, of course! Georgia Tech pulled off a huge upset of Auburn - first time Tech has beaten Auburn in 25 years (ok - they haven’t played each other since 1987, but it’s one of the oldest rivalries in the South. They first played in 1892, and Tech last won in 1977). Still, I was in the stands today cheering without sweating. Glorious! ---

I miss having seasons! It even snowed a couple of times when I was in Georgia! I HATE YOU ALL!!! I know it cools off here eventually, but it hasn’t really started much yet. And even when it does, it’s so damn humid…sigh. I loved the winters in Georgia. Where I was it was just wintery enough to be fun, without constant ice and snow (though the snow was a lot of fun, since I didn’t have to go out in it!). ---

Ye gads! 82?? In my ideal world, the weather would never get any hotter than 70. I don’t how you do it. (then again, everyone thinks I’m psycho 'cause I wear a t-shirt and shorts when it’s in the 40s…) ---

It was nice here in South Carolina, too. It was raining all day, but I bet it didn’t get above 75 here. I haven’t checked the weather sites to be sure. I miss having seasons, too. That was until someone informed me that yes, the south does have 4 seasons. Almost summer, summer, still summer, and winter (which lasts about 3 days). No A/C running in this house tonight! To **Labdad** and **Quasi** - This Auburn alumnus is taking it like a man - sticking my fingers in my ears and yelling “I’m not listening! La la la la la!” ---

No thank you. I’ll take my nice Georgia weather. It snows once or twice every year, maybe, otherwise it’s nice and cool. Even summer isn’t so bad, compared to the brain-melting summers of ol’ Nawlins. ---
