Well, I’m working pretty hard an following up my little-keg Heinekens with some Cavernet Sauvignon, graciously gifted to me during a yankee swap work thingie.
It is ok. I’m sure it will be better if I drink faster.

**jazzmine** , the problem with my computer _is_ that it doesn’t have your IM handle. 😃
Has anyone ever noticed how peculiar a wine-drunk is? Not that I’m drunk yet, my typo:non-typo ratio is still well within parameters, but I feel it coming and it is quite peculiar. I don’t drink wine often, but it is nice now and again. My mom, on the other hand (and my cousin, too, for that matter)… all she seems to drink is wine. I can see the attraction of it.

Well heck, I might as well join in. All I have is a case of Coors. I don’t really like Coors, but it was on sale. I’ll have to slug down the first two or three real fast to kill the taste.
I should add that for once I am NOT smoking my usual two packs of cigarettes today. I’ve spent the whole day not smoking and it’s been a lot of work. I need a drink.

Ahh, just getting a buzz. No profound thoughts as of yet. Well, maybe one profound thought which is “I’d have to drink a hell of a lot to watch what is on TV tonight”. I don’t have cable and tv fare looks sad.

Also, it’s been nearly two year since I’ve smoked. I still think about lighting up one of those sweet, angelic, virginal white cylinders every day though. Mmmmm…tobacco.
