Fingers crossed that you can catch Bailey, **LiLi**! Glad to hear that she’s been spotted! Sorry about your chorus friend, **Rosie**. It’s tough to sing at funerals. Years ago the chorus I was in did for the chorus director’s funeral. That was really sad so I know how emotional it can be. {{rosie and chorus}} We’ve been having a very snowy winter. We didn’t quite break the December record, which was something like 39" but we got close. Close enough that it was kind of disappointing… if we have to deal with 3’ of snow, then I want the extra couple inches so we can set a new record! Since then, it’s been a few inches a week, just enough to mess up one or two commutes a week. This morning was the bad one for this week. I live close to work, but my coworkers come in late and grumpy. The temperatures haven’t been bad this week, with highs in the teens, but we’re supposed to get an air mass from Siberia heading this way over the weekend with highs around 0. That’s always fun. ---

I was planning on it! I’m sticking all the paperwork I did in my files. I got a certified copy to send off for a new SSN card and I just made a copy of it because I have an interview for a temp job! $15/hr, full time, two to three weeks. It should pay my bills for a month or so (since I don’t have to pay rent). My parents won’t be thrilled about the hours - I won’t be able to cook dinner most nights. 😃 ---

Hopefully he can find something soon because Computer Boy and I are going to have to cover the bills until he does–mainly me because Computer Boy is on commission. In good news, we found out yesterday that the hill from the road to the apartment parking lot is an excellent sled hill. {{{ **rosie** }}} Congrats on the name change **ShinyCat**! **swampy** , if you’re my MIL, you pronounce it “kish” - I guess it’s an Indiana thing. Regardless, they’re in the oven. I’s stahvink, so I’m more than ready for them to be done. Daughter is home from buying out Walmart. Doggies have been fed. \*\*FCD \*\*is still at work, I guess. We’ll see if we get the evil amounts of snow some have forecast or the mere dusting that I expect we’ll get. ---

Found out yesterday my direct supervisor is retiring around 1 May. I’m not surprised. However, we’re already down one person, now we’ll be back in the same boat I was in just over a year ago. Bleh. On the other hand, I’ll be glad to see her go. Supposedly, we’re supposed to get snow, that should turn to rain some time after midnight. I’ve yet to see either. I’m sorry about your friend, **rosie.** I hope your husband can catch up to Bailey, **Li-li.** ---

I actually qualified for and interviewed for her job before she got here, **FCM**. The truth is, I didn’t really want it and still don’t. I like not being a supervisor. I also like not having carry a Crackberry and not having to work almost non-stop even while on vacation. It will be interesting to see what happens this time around. I may apply for it, mainly because I could use the money. However, I still don’t feel like I have all the skillsets required for that job. We’ll see how I feel after business planning next month. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up an caffienatin’. It’s cooooooold outside. I went out to get the mornin’ paper and brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I went to bed at eight p.m. and slept until I woke up at five-thirty this mornin’ cause I had to pee. I slept through the night. I pulled an allnighter! 😃 **StickyBuns** so did you convince the psych? It’s dumb to have to convince your doctor of sump’n you’ve already been diagnosed with but I’ve seen all that before. Still it’s grrrrrr to have to deal with. **Crow** I make stuff like soups, stews and chili and freeze so there’s always comfort food at hand. Speakin’ of which, before I leave for irk I shall start slow cooker with the taco soup I put together last night before beddy bye. 'Twill be good on a cold day! **Taters** I say go for the supervisor’s position. Hey, at least then somebody with sense will be supervisor! Ok, I need to feed rumbly tummy and caffienate some more. Happy Hump Day! I decided not to go for the cardiac nuclear stress test I was scheduled for today. Since it’s January, I haven’t yet met my deductible. They wanted a $788 co-pay! :eek: I’ll put it off for a while, until my Health Savings account gets a bit more flush. Yesterday I told them I was gonna show up, but by the time I changed my mind, their office was closed and now I can’t cancel the appointment. They should at least have an option to leave a voicemail! So I’m at irk, trying to get motivated.
