Similarly, a Pentagon official said Iraqi dissenters inside the country have begun speaking to U.S. intelligence personnel over open telephone lines about troop movements and possible locations of biological or chemical weapons caches ---

Apparently, the initial bombardment was a specific strike against a ‘target of opportunity’. Apparently, they got some intelligence that someone very high up in the leadership was making a break for it, and they hit whatever it was. ---

**Shodan** , Apparently they have already started surrendering. There was a report on Reuters earlier saying that Baath party members were AWOL from posts. We’ve started broadcasting over Iraqi airwaves now. Wed March 19, 2003 10:13 PM ET BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The main frequency of Iraqi state radio appeared to be taken over by the U.S. military as U.S. planes began bombing Baghdad at dawn on Thursday. ---
