You know, I’m starting to think my initial Pitting of **Claws** was perhaps correct. So far, she’s still harping on the same damn thing and coming up with the same strawmen. Pity. ---

The only thing I have to add is, if a friend of mine sees me being harrassed and physically assaulted for a few hours, then doesn’t want me to call the police when the harrasser is waiting outside for me, _he or she is not a very good friend_. It doesn’t matter if I can take down an assailant, it doesn’t matter what a police response would do to the reputation of the establishment, if I am threatened, a friend will help me if he or she can and will not prevent me from calling for backup. ---
