As I understand it, no you can’t use Tapatalk. Discourse has its own mobile app equivalent. ---

I just tried to change my email address to my main most-used email address, but in order to do that, it also asked me to change my password. Fine. I changed my password and entered the email address I want to use and I got the message that my email address has been banned. WTF? Sigh. I think I’ll just leave everything alone. For now. And wait for other problems after the move. Did I mention that change and upgrades are the work of Satan? ---

You might want to put a couple somewhere people can find them as a backstop. Maybe in the announcement thread or something. I mean, you realize there are posters who don’t check in every week, right? " Go to the User CP and check your information!" I think this should be modified to: “Go to the User CP and make sure your email address is up-to-date!” The other information doesn’t matter. And by failing to clarify this some people will update other information–but not the email address. And give the reason–the need to re-register… ---

I would think you could NOT change your email and your password at the same time because when you make a change the system sends you a confirmation email. You can do one at a time. One transaction at a time. It will do no good to change your password now. That password will not be on the new site and you will STILL have to set up a new password when you get there.
