If it wasn’t for Owen Wilson, I’m not sure I would have known Le Mozart des Pickpockets means “The Mozart of Pickpockets.” I wonder if Jon Stewart took any French. ---

Look! Inspirational African-American kiddies! Actually, they were pretty damn good. Nice Oscars so far–I liked the Steve Carell/Anne Hathaway zinger about being unable to distinguish the Docs from the Cartoons. No crazy political ramblings so far. People are sooooo well-behaved nowadays. All the foreign winners have given the best speeches so far. Charming variety of accents. OK, the all-bee montage is so horrible I take it all back. ---

Bah- I wanted the older black woman to win (I suck at names, even of movie stars). I like Tilda, though. The 11 year old singer was amazing, but I still don’t like the song that was sung… Wow-giving the Oscar to her agent–generous! ---

Tilda Swinton, that’s kind of a surprise. She was good in that movie, but I thought Amy Ryan was better. She totally became that skank in _Gone Baby Gone_. ---

I think Tilda Swinton was surprised as well. Surely if she was expecting to win, she would have worn a more attractive gown. ---

[/QUOTE] Film festivals usually but you can sometimes find them online legally before the awards are handed out. Atom Films had them all one year as I recall. ---
