I just posted on that in another thread, and the post was eaten by hamsters or something. That woman obviously hasn’t any idea what is actually going on. The courts actually refused to intervene and prevented the legislature from intervening. They’re protecting citizens from government tyranny.

Apparently the right-wingers don’t see it that way. The court refused to go along with the decision of the legislative and executive branches. That’s a clear case of elitist activist judges overruling elected officials and therefore countermanding the will of the people. Who cares the polls don’t agree with this view - the public is manipulated by the liberal media.

I really would like to see some more serious legal analysis of the claims Delay and Santorum are making. Does Congress really have the power to demand that there be a completely new trial (not just a de novo consideration of the actual briefs filed)? Does it actually have the power to demand that a court order a stay on the order to remove her tube?
