Happy Toosday! The sun is out, YEA! I don’t want to move furniture/pick up washer and dryer in the rain. And **Moooommmm** doesn’t want even wetter jeans hanging on the line. It’s a cool 59 degrees with a projected high of 72. I should open my window. If it stays clear then I’ll be loading up the truck. If not then I’ll move as much as I can in the cab. My mother wants Sah-son to be here to let my nieces husband in to do more work in the attic but we have to be out of here by 2pm so I’ll have to figure something out if the nephew-in-law doesn’t get here before then. UPS closes at 6, it’s a two hour drive and I don’t want to cut it close. Hopefully the NIL will get here early enough to help Sah-son load some heavier things. If not, then we’ll make do with what we can move. **FCM** I decided just to wait until today and go back on my regular schedule. I wish the doctor had called me back but I’ll wing it. I didn’t die from too much , I doubt I’ll die from too little. **Swampy** I know it wouldn’t be that simple either and the whole idea of going back out looking at houses makes me feel ill. I still get a list from the realtor every time a new house comes on the market and the good ones are gone quick. Everybody wants this to be over except the bitchster. I’m more chill about it now though. We’ll settle when we do and I’m going full speed ahead with furnishing the house. I cannot believe what a long hard road it’s been. Nobody should have this much trouble buying a house. I’m not so fond of hockey either, but it’s got to be better than football and baseball. I don’t know if ravens and oriole fans are more obnoxious than the fans of other teams but around here it’s always in your face. ---

::sigh:: So I am packing stuff up and I found two keys that I have no idea what they are for. I thought they were for my lock box but they’re not. Now I can’t fine my birth certificate and SS card which I need to pick up the washer dryer because my address on my license is different then the delivery address. I thought they were in the lock box. My niece isn’t answering her phone, she never does anyway, so I have no idea when her husband is supposed to get here. No matter, I am leaving and what doesn’t get done doesn’t get done. Now to go find my bc and ss card. ---

I have a consultation appointment with a lawyer today at 11:00. I really don’t want to go, but maybe it’ll be a positive thing and I can finally start to get all this accident claim crap put behind me. After the appointment, I have a couple of stops to make and then it’s back home to hopefully take care of some chores. We’ll see how the day progresses. The weather is foggy and slightly damp this morning. Fall weather is supposed to blow in by the latter half of this week. I am hoping that I can get the lawn mowed before it does blow in. ---

They don’t understand that people buy a new ‘warsher’/dryer for a _new_ house & they may not have an updated DL yet? Or a parent might buy one for a kid? If you didn’t finance it thru them then they don’t have your SSN & they don’t need it. The less places you have info out there, the less chances you can be identity-thefted. If they’re delivering to the address requested upon payment, that _should_ be good enough for them. It was one of those days where they suck the blood out of you at work - the bloodmobile was here :D. It’s hard to type with the band-aid on my finger, though. ---

Just drifting in to say I got nuffin except I have embarked on a kitchen remodel. Actually, I am paying a kitchen place to do all the work. I just had to pick out cabinets, countertops and appliances. Now I just sit back and wait for demolition. I will be without countertops, dishwasher and a SINK for 7-10 days. I foresee myself eating out. A lot. ---

When we remodeled our kitchen, the bathtub became my sink, and we nuked pretty much everything. Oh yeah, and ate out a lot. 😃 ---

I’m not allowed to give blood anymore, I was sick for a long time with low grade fevers and a sore throat until a doctor finally figured it out. Maybe they’d want me again but who knows. Spidey it’s UPS that wants the ID. They held the packages for me since Home Depot decided to send them out a week earlier than they said they would. So I am getting ready to pack the computer, I’m not taking as much as I hoped but it looks like it is going to rain any minute so no furniture is going. However, we have bags and bags of clothes and food (the bottles and cans can go in the back, rain won’t hurt them). Sah-son is positive he can fit everything in the truck, I don’t think so. Sah-dog knows something is up and is looking upset. He’s going to be even more upset when he has to take the long ride. I already packed his treats and his benadryl so I can’t give him and extra dose to make him sleepy. Shit gotta pack his bowls and his food too. I know I am going to forget something important. ---

The problem with living relatively close to several military bases where things occasionally go boom - you can’t always tell if it’s thunder or military booms that you’re hearing. We’ve got a chance of t-storms today, and I just heard what could be thunder… or not. No matter - the laundry is all in. Higgs was just barking like her usual idiotic self and I couldn’t figure out why till I went into the living room. \*\*FCD \*\*brought his 2 styrofoam heads up for me to use with my brain hats. (He uses them for motorcycle helmet holders.) He’d put one of the pink hats on a head, and Higgs didn’t much like the disembodied head sitting next to the potted croton. Idiot dog. I took it down so she could investigate it, but she’s a wuss. My sweetie is taking a nap. I’m not motivated. Chickie and dumplin’s for supper, but I’ve got time before I have to do anything about it. ---

Been a looooooooooong day at the orifice. On the plus side all the monthly report stuff is finally done, so yay for that. I had a come to Jesus meetin’ with a participant this mornin’. He’s been placed at three different assignments and at every place, the host agency supervisor has called to say he has problems followin’ instructions and refuses to do assigned tasks. Needless to say each place wanted him out. The last one was this past Firday. I placed him on leave without pay. I have ample documentation, I feel, to suggest to TPTB (aka my boss) that he be terminated for cause. I really do not want to place him anywhere else. Teh stoopid is overwhelmin’ at times. In other news I get to head down to the south forty to [del]torture[/del] test folks tomorrow. The latest joy of irk is the givin’ of literacy tests to anybody who is not a high skool grajooet or in possession of a GED. Since I am the one with credentials to administer the test I get to go all over the place and do this now. Rah. I want irk to be over! ---

So, I went and met with the lawyer today. About the only portion of the claim they could help me out with is the personal injury part. I’m not even sure how hurt I am. I do have an appointment set up with my HMO for Thursday, but I have to come in with the claim number so they can bill my insurance. I’ll call my insurance tomorrow to get that claim set up so they can go after the other insurance. I’m just done and don’t feel like dealing with anymore today. The other insurance company called me and told me that they were going to cancel my car rental since my Jeep was done. I informed the gal the Jeep most certainly wasn’t done and she told me the back end was done and that’s all they’re responsible for. I told her the back end was NOT done, they still had to do an alignment and various other things. She then told me that they “might” extend the rental until tomorrow. So great, I now will have to call my insurance to ensure I have a car through Friday otherwise, I can’t get to my medical appointment on Thursday. Nothing is easy, damn it. ---

Any thump or bang tended to provoke a “What was that?” response. The “what” invariably was the dog flopping down on the floor, and occasionally, one of the refineries on the other side of the bay decided to slough off some pieces. :eek: Good thing, as the place was the site of an [earth-shattering kaboom](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Chicago_disaster) 70 years ago. We used to joke that would-be burglars would never find their way to us as they’d have to go past the base [entrance](https://www.flickr.com/photos/rebelgirl/5408844128/). Guys with guns are about 200 feet to the left, and homes are faintly visible through the fog. ---

Citrus chikin 'n rice with broccoli as the vegetative matter. Poke chops on deck for tomorrow. Sunday I shall be Lector at the Luterun service. The reading was emailed to me today. It contains these two loverly names, Euodia and Syntyche. They are pronounced “Yu-O-dee-ah” and “Sin-ti-kee” accordin’ to the online Biblical pronounciation guide I am wont to use. Both are female names. Now, imagine namin’ a child one or both of these names. You could be the perfect parent, makin’ sure her every want and need is provided, raise said child in a beautiful home surrounded by love, and well, just over all to have the jakest life ever. However, because you chose one or both of those names, she would still wind up in years of therapy because of YOU! 😃 Thus endeth the musin’ on Biblical names. ---
