I had no problem working - in fact, I was able to get more done because everyone else was in the meeting. After getting some stuff done, I popped over to the pharmacy to pick up a refill, then headed for home with plans to finish out the day in quieter surroundings. (No concrete drilling!) But the fun continued…on the way home, the bus driver decided they needed to take a break in the middle of the route, so they left us all at a park and ride lot to wait for their “relief” to show up. Can today just hurry up and end? ---

Thumb is healing, and I actually did get some sleep. OTOH, the laptop is in a “will not boot” state, I’m currently rescuing my files to another hard drive so I can attempt a refresh of the OS. If that doesn’t work, next move will probably have to be a format-and-reinstall. Feel free to use your imagination as to the kind of language being used at this point. ---

I think I have a failing processor on the Infernal Machine. I’m waiting for confirmation from Complicated Friend, but I’m 99% sure that’s what’s going on. When I finally hear back from CF’s slack self, I’m going to order a new CPU and call the Computer Fixin’ Place to install it. I do not mess with component parts of computer machines. ---

Sah-son is not happy here. The dog is sleeping all day and not eating. We got him out in the daylight, still a challenge but he is getting better at it. I’m a little unhappy right now as well. Next time I look at houses I am going to take my shoes off and climb in and out of the tub. This tub is much smaller and narrower and the safety bar is on the opposite side of what I am used to. The smaller and narrower is disappointing but the safety bar is an issue for me. I didn’t get anything done today except for to unpack a few boxes. I am exhausted. My bed was delivered today but since the mattress isn’t here it’s not much good. Sah-sons bed is supposed to be here tomorrow. He’s debating whether he wants to sleep upstairs or take the front room that can be closed off. The dog will appreciate one of us sleeping downstairs. OAOASO is coming over Friday so he can help put the beds together, and help Sah-son do whatever needs to be done to the dryer and he can look at the furnace. It’s probably something stupid like the furnace is turned off. I checked the switches at the top of the stairs. It worked when the inspector was here so I know it works. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 67 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 for the day. I didn’t get out of bed till **7AM**!!! Higgs was quiet and the cat jumping on the door knob was ignorable. So I’m rested, and now dressed, breakfasted, and waiting for it to warm up a wee bit before going out to finish the pavers. It’s only 46° and I’m not playing in wet dirt in such a chill. Today is a crabber day, but it doesn’t look like anyone on our list has gone out. Shaping up to be a quiet day, I’m thinking. I’m hoping. Happy Thursday! ---

Happy Thorsday! It’s a cloudy 51 degrees with a projected high of 68. I slept pretty well last night considering it was on the floor. \*\*Swampy \*\* I know you are right he needs to give it time.
