Our petrol is about £1.26 a litre- no clue what that translates into Murrican as (well, the ‘petrol’ translates as ‘gas’, I know that bit…) I dreamed someone gave me a bee hive (for bees, not hair) last night, and was really disappointed when I woke up and realised no-one had ☹ Did one more day horsey leafletting- it hath been decreed that there is one more day’s worth of places worth trying, than that’ll be it for a few weeks. Went round loads of pubs, mostly, today- with one rather awkward one where I walked in with a bunch of horse rescue centre newsletters, only to find a funeral party going on. I don’t think I interrupted too badly, luckily… :o I also often get people trying to start technical horse conversations with me- and while I do know the basics about horses- four legs, one at each corner- I haven’t much of a clue about riding. So far, I think I’ve got away with just nodding and making interested noises. It’s a shame this job’s only irregular and doesn’t pay well- they’re lovely to work for, and it’s such a nice change not having a boss that tries to screw me over constantly in questionably legal or outright illegal ways. I’d almost forgotten that wasn’t actually the norm. ---

Lowest price here in the valley is 3.15 and that’s only if you have a Sam’s Club membership. ---

\*\*Spaz \*\*- that’s $2.03/liter. And I got a wrong conversion - there are 3.785 liters in a gallon so that comes to $7.68/gallon. Still :eek: ---

I readjusted all the straps on the CPAP last night. Much less tight, but the seal was still good. I didn’t like the humidity at 3, so I turned it down to 1. Much more comfortable. The check engine light went off all by itself today. Well, how about that? Now I need to find a good sale on tires. **Filbert** , knowledge of the cost of gas in the rest of the world means that I don’t complain (much) about its cost here. I \*know \*we get it cheap. ---

When I was a child, I recall my Father being annoyed that gasoline was priced at twenty nine cents a gallon. I also recall watching to Tonight Show in the 1970s during some Arab boycott. Johnny Carson said, “I’m pretty sure than when gas costs a dollar a gallon, there will be plenty of gas.” 🙂 ---

I managed to twist my ankle. Tis all swollen and hurts. I really don’t think it’s broken since I can still walk on it. So, I have a bum knee on the right and a bum ankle on the left. I am just a mess. Irk is killing me. So busy all the time. ---

Cute babby fisheses! Wish I still had a set up suitable to breed fishies. Guess I could get guppies, but my Apistogramma would probably just scoff any babies, and I prefer wild type fish anyway. Just got my 6 month road tax due. Eep. I haven’t paid the allotment bill for this year yet, and this is even more. Being a lodger, I don’t get any other bills in my name, just the car and the lottie- didn’t realise they’d both come together… when I’m already overdrawn due to getting almost no hours at irk. Oh well, guess I should get on with making felt things- I’ve made nearly enough to pay one of the bills, if they sell. I’ve just been lazy while I’ve had the horsey leaflet second job, and haven’t been finishing stuff. ---

Danged skeeter bites!! I was up way too late last night because of the itching. A combination of some cortisone cream and reading till I was exhausted allowed me to finally fall asleep a bit after 1, but I was still up before 6:30. \*\*FCD \*\*had gotten up to tend to the critters, but I sent him back to bed - he’s working a bike fest today so he’ll need the rest. I can doze later if I need to. I get my weather from [Intellicast.com](http://Intellicast.com), but I’m about to look for something else. They recently changed to graphs instead of plain English, so you have to figure our what the day will be based on a line for temps, a line for pressure, a line with arrows for wind, and bars for precip or snow. OK, they do have a tab for descriptions, but where they used to have a 10-day layout, now they only show 3 days unless you click a link. I originally bookmarked the site because they had a clear layout of 10 days that popped up and I could get a quick picture of the week ahead. But they’re ruined it. Guess I’ll look for another site. ugh. I know, first world problems. Happy Firday anyway! ---

**{{{butters}}}** you may want to get the ankle looked at, even though you can walk on it. I walked on a broken ankle for most of a day once before my boss saw me limping and sent me to the doctor. It wasn’t just a sprain. Venturing out into city commuter traffic this morning to go get my left eye tuned up. Then back to irk. ---
