“If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago” is possibly the first time I’ve heard McCain have any kind of somewhat good response to the McSame moniker. ---

“I know how to eliminate programs!!!” Sounds like he just want to cut 'em willy nilly. And an overhead projector “in his hometown?” His hometown is CHICAGO!!! It’s not like we’re talking about Podunkville. ---

I like that off the top off his head, Obama was able to whip out some examples of “standing up to your party.” Not like I think that’s some watermark for the office, but McCain was going for an “aha …” and Obama met it well. ---

Did McCain just say he opposed the Iraq War? ---
