Most denominations I know of do not celebrate Good Friday, or any other religious holiday I know of, buck nekkid. Mebbe it’s time I start my own… ---

It’s a beautiful day outside, and I want to spend some time out there. The dog desperately needs to go to the park. Dad has some free-floating anxiety. It’s not making him hostile, but he sure is following me around and asking questions about stuff. I suspect that he’s also lonely and he’s lost that ego-check that kept him from looking for company before this. It’s just . . . I’ve got so much stuff I _have_ to get done. I can’t sit and talk with him. Speaking of . . . time to get busy. ---

I got a lot done in just under 2 hours. I moved 5 daylilies from the hill to the front garden, and I divided a large hosta and moved it from the front garden to 2 of the holes on the hill that the lilies vacated. I also mulched about 1/3 of the front bed after some weeding. Right now, I’ve got the sprinkler soaking the mulch. Tomorrow, I’ll try some more weeding and lily-moving before I have to start drinking my preparatory liquid. (ick) Time to toss supper together. I’ve already had some ibuprofen as an appetizer! 😃 ---

Hmmm… I post an OP talkin’ about Holy Week and Passover and within ten hours we have had posts about boob kitties and nekkid bacon fryin’. Yep. I forgot to mention that by way of a Holy Week Obligation (yes we Whiskypalians do such things) I am attending the noon downtown churches Holy Week services. This year they are bein’ held at an African Methodist-Episcopal Church which I shall have to read up on to learn more. Anywho there are six churches that come together to do this. One church hosts each year and the Ministers of the five other church do the sermons. The Pastor at the AME church said today that he is particularly delighted to be the host church as that means he does not have to preach. 😃 It’s kinda neat. The service lasts 30 minutes and each year there is a theme. This year’s theme is “The Faces Around The Cross.” The sermon today, by the Minister of First UMC was about Mary. Very nice. Irk was even not so irksome today. Psychotic Hosebeast even sent me stuff on the :eek: _correct_ :eek: forms! Evil, mean boss bear gets his way! ---

Hubby’s birthday is on Easter this year. Last week we went to Costco and he bought himself a birthday present… a HUGE flat screen TV. :rolleyes: I was fine with that. I just have to buy a card and dinner. Except, on Saturday while he was at the gym, he set his iTouch on his towel in the locker room and stepped 5 steps away to the urinal. When he turned back the iTouch was gone. We went to the Apple store yesterday. Happy Birthday, love-of-my-life, again. Dinner just went from [13 Coins](http://www.13coins.com/) to Jack in the Box. 😃 ---
