Half the lines from Star Wars, Princess Bride, Monty Python, Airplane… well, basically the usually geeky cult stuff. Not on a daily basis, but pretty often, and out of context. ‘These are not the droids you are looking for’ gets a lot of currency because we’re always losing stuff. ‘Where’s the rum gone?’ And ‘Why is the rum always gone?’ from Pirates of the Caribbean. I sometimes say ‘what we have heyah is a failure to communicate’ in a cod-American accent and I haven’t even seen that film - I’m not even sure what film it’s from. Apologetically: ‘I ate all your bees.’ -Black Books. ---

“It’s possible… _pig_” (Princess Bride) Too many lines from Withnail to write them all out. Possibly most often “Stop SAYING that, Withnail. Of course he’s the fucking farmer”. Or maybe “How could I possibly know what _we_ should do? _What_ should we do?”. “Found someone you have, I should say.” “Jehovah! Jehovah!” “Morning, saviour.” “He’s not the messiah. He’s a very naughty boy.” (Life of Brian) And from The Mighty Boosh: “I can’t get up these stairs. What is this bullshit?” whenever something is unnecessarily difficult due to one’s own stupidity. ---
