Recently, when I was mumbling too low for my wife to understand me, she broke out with “Talk to me goose.” (Top Gun). I’m also partial to, “I knew it. I’m surrounded by assholes!” (Space Balls) when I’m just exasperated about something, followed by the amusing (and completely nonsensical, given the actual context in which I’m speaking) “keep firing assholes!” ---
